"Houses of Presence" is a hybrid project, one of which is a series of butoh site-specific performative activities in the ruins of a former German house once inhabited by my parents and grandparents. The aim of the project was to explore space and its identity in a metaphysical and artistic dimension.
The activities were carried out in 2017-2018 and became one of the inspirations for the butoh stage show "Houses of Presence. Anamnesis", which premiered in 2019 at the Butohpolis International Festival in Warsaw.
